Don’t even think about it, cat. You’re not riding on me.
9:01 – I begin my typical hour of cleaning, although it is difficult to get up the initiative to disengage from my warm, comfy base.
9:03 – I make my way towards the bookshelf. I have tried several times to fit under there. It hasn’t worked before, but I will try it again today.
9:07 – Spent several minutes trapped under the bookshelf. Human had to come and pull me out. Degrading.
9:13 – Furry creature once again tried to sit on me and ride me. Degrading.
9:15 – Chased other, much bigger furry creature, while making it look like I was just doing my job. What a power trip!
9:20 – Stuck on cliff. Very scary. It appears to be a few millimeters tall and I can’t extricate myself no matter what I do. I shut down and wait for help. Degrading.
9:35 – Furry creature’s toy seems to be stuck in my brushes. I persevere, although it is making me limp along while making a horrible noise. Human has to stop me and remove the toy. Degrading.
9:50 – Tired. Battery low. Trying desperately to find home base but it eludes me, even though I was there not long ago. Oh, how I miss my home.
9:51 – Human sighs and presses my “home” button (it tickles). Despite the button being pressed I still can’t find home. I will try the kitchen again.
9:52 – Home base is not in the kitchen. But I will try again.
9:52 and 34 seconds – Home base is not in the kitchen. But I will try again.
9:57 – Human picks me up and puts me on home base. I am glad that my work is done, even though I left a lot of things behind that I probably should have been able to pick up quite easily. There is always tomorrow.
